Clear Lake Resort is set near Suttle Lake at the junction between Oregon Highway 20 and Highway 126, right in the stunning Cascade mountains. Our rustic cabins will get you away from the hustle and bustle of that city life. Were located about 80 miles south of Salem and 86 miles northeast of Eugene, not far from the charming town of Sisters. We offer excellent amenities at Clear Lake Resort such as daily and hourly boat rentals, comfy rustic rental cabins that sleep from two and upto eight people for that perfect family get-together for relaxation. Our Cabins are open year round, so you can enjoy winter sports like cross-country skiing, downhill skiing at nearby Hoodoo, or sledding, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. In the summertime, you can take a drive along the beautiful McKenzie Pass-Santiam Pass Scenic Byway or go river rafting and floating on the McKenzie River or Santiam River. You can plan a day trip to Black Butte Ranch for a day of golfing, head to Sisters for horseback riding and shopping, or spend the day fishing and boating right here in camp. Our lake, with its maximum depth of 200 feet and average water temperature of 43 degrees year-round, forms the headwaters of the McKenzie River. For years, this area has been preserved to protect its unusual natural ecosystem, allowing us to offer you incredible beauty and serenity when you come camping with us at Clear Lake Resort, our campground in the Oregon Cascades. Rustic, Double Rustic and Double/Double Rustic cabins have a two burner propane cook stove, propane heat, propane lights and large bowl to use for washing hands/dishes. Modern Cains (17,18,19 & 20) have running water, inside bathrooms with shower, refrigerator and propane cook stove. Modern cabins 17, 18, 21 & 22 have ovens. We also have two Modern Barrier Free (21 & 22) for those large families. There is a shower house on site for those who don't have showers/restroom facility in their cabin. ATTENTION: Please be aware that our generator shuts down at night and there will be no power. Health care equipment operators will need to bring extra battery backup for your equipment.
