We love this campground! We grew up in Winston-Salem so we have used the park for many, many years but the campground is a wonderful new way for us to stay in town. The sites are under a canopy of trees so they stay cool. Most of them are level. The bathhouse is clean. The pavilion was nice to reserve for this visit with the fireplace, water, and electricity. I love the lending library. There are great trails to walk and bike. Many amenities of the park are not open yet but in the summer there is a swimming pool and lake to enjoy. There is a fabulous golf course. In Clemmons, you can find many grocery stores and restaurants. In a few minutes you can be in Winston-Salem for even more activities and eateries. I suggest Old Salem or Reynolda House and Gardens for historical exploration.

Great campground. Some sites are unlevel but all are full service and paved. Staff are very customer orientated and helpful. Campground is very clean and sites were inspected after every rig left. Wifi speed was good but kept dropping the connection and ping was 60 so gaming was marginal. Cell service was very good both T-Mobil and Verizon. Local TV stations were available. Lots of things available to do. Huge doggie park near camp. Middle row had heavy shade. Site 20 was used one of the best.

Spent 3 nights at this beautiful county campground! Site 12 and surrounding sites were mostly level; however, I did see some sites on a couple of rows over that could be a bit of a challenge. Bathhouse was spotless; wireless was so-so. There were times we could stream and other times we could not connect to the internet. Access to the park directly from the campground was a huge bonus, and we took full advantage of riding the paved trails on our e-bikes. Would definitely come back!

Great park, nice trails, congenial park hosts. Beautiful park like surrounding. It is very quiet and safe. Just a really nice place.

Great week. Our first trip out with new RV. All was great. Would have loved to use our small solo fire pit.

Arrived a little early before check-in. No problem. Gaff was great! He was kind and patient with no worries about my troubles with time. The camp hosts here are wonderful! The camp sites are a tad uneven but not a deal team by any means. Great campground. Fantastic amenities! I enjoyed my stay, and will return soon.. Thumbs up for an overall awesome time!

Such a great get away close to home. Beautiful shade trees! Great walking trails! Friendly folks. Loved our stay!

We were on our way home to eastern Virginia from a 6 week RV trip and Tanglewood was both on the way and within striking distance of home. Glad we choose this place. Although we only stayed one night we were impressed enough that we will definitely return. From making our reservations, to check in with very friendly Hosts to the site itself, this was a wonderful experience. My only suggestion is for the park to place additional trash recepticals around the RV park. It was a long walk to drop our trash off!!!

Overall it is a nice campground with Park Access and excellent Dog Park. Campsite are Asphalt which only the last 2 rows are level sites while others are very challenging. Grounds are topped with large chunky mulch which is very hard to walk on without slipping or turning ankles. Disappointed the Cable TV is no longer an available and was substituted with WiFi. Reception was hit or miss and extremely difficult to download and pair to TV.
