Tanglewood Park

We were at Tanglewood the week of Thanksgiving. Nice, well-maintained campground. Bathhouses were always clean. My wife and felt safe and the management extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning.

We have been to this park a couple of times and enjoyed each visit. This time we decided to come for the festival of lights. Neither disappointed us. They no longer have cable, but we never used it anyway. The 60+ channels over the air is more than enough. They improve the Wi-Fi and was able to stream on the TV. Never lost connection. It was a cold visit, and the 50 amp had no faults. The camp host were the same as previous, who are always delightful to talk to and give insights.

It was a great time. We had never been here before and wanted to visit the FOL. What a bonus to have the entrance to the lights included in our stay and extra added bonus to get in quickly. We look forward to staying again sometime

Really had a great time at Tanglewood. The time of year and the fact that we visited during the Festival of Lights made the stay even mor enjoyable.

Our second visit. Will not be our last. A beautiful park in a wonderful setting. And this time of year the lights are an added bonus. All the workers(both volunteer and paid)are very helpful and friendly. Top notch all around!

My latest stay was to see the Festival of Lights show. I wasn't disappointed at all! Beautiful. Camping at Tanglewood is a golfer's delight. Can't beat the beauty of the campground, the golf courses are in great shape. Great value for the cost!

We love this park. It is one of our favorites. The campground is well maintained and the camp hosts are always helpful. The grounds around the park are beautiful and we always enjoy walking on the paved trails. This year we were staying during The Festival of Lights. It is the best display I have ever seen. Loved our stay!

Beautiful campground. Lots sizes are large and all fully paved. Scenery is phenomenal and very quiet. The host who are here 24 hours a day are super kind and friendly. Very helpful and informative. Bathrooms are clean and heated and air conditioned. Nice showers. About 4 miles of walking trails available. Huge dog park within a quarter of a mile. Wonderful experience here.

We travel on the average of 1x a month, usually to state or national parks or those without amenities except for power and water. Sewer is a luxury! The Christmas lightshow was what brought us to this CG because it was closer than going to Charleston. The lights were great, the park is expansive and our visit was enjoyable. There will be lots to do next time we bring our bicycles. The only negative we would have would be the lack of fire rings at the campsite. The group we travel with normally spends hours in front of a campfire swapping tall tales and eating s'mores. The rings available were too far from the camper to allow for a camp fire. This time we would not have used too much because of the wind but could be a deciding factor on another trip. We use camping for relaxing and with a Class C hiking back and forth to the fire would not be a relaxing task. Otherwise, a great place to camp.

This is a very nice campground and park. Many walking trails and everything is kept clean
