Tri-County Triangle Trail - The Tri-County Triangle Trail was established in the early 1990's by citizens of the surrounding counties. The Tri-County Triangle Trail consists of 100 miles of recreational trails passing by scenic and picturesque areas including Paint Creek, Adena School, and the Washington Court House area. The trail connects Chillicothe, Frankfort, Washington Court House and Greenfield. Enjoy hiking, biking, walking, or running. The Tri-County Triangle Trail is adjacent to the entrance to Lake Hill Campground.

Hopewell Culture National Historical Park - The Hopewell Culture National Historical Park presents the story of the prehistoric Hopewell Culture, who inhabited the Ohio River Valley from 200 BC to AD 500. The Hopewell Culture is characterized by the construction of enclosures and mounds made of earthen walls in geometric patterns and shapes. The Hopewell Culture National Historical Park has a unique visitor center that features exhibits, an award-winning orientation film, and guided or self-guided tours. Special events featuring Native American and archeological themes take place throughout the year. Other activities at the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park include biking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs, and nature walks.

Tecumseh! The Outdoor Drama - Tecumseh! The Outdoor Drama is an epic drama depicting the struggle of Tecumseh, the Shawnee Indian leader. The show takes place on the huge outdoor stages of the Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheater, affording the audience with a unique viewing experience. Tecumseh! The Outdoor Drama is an exciting show where the audience can watch a herd of galloping horses, hear live military cannon action, and be dazzled by battle sequences. Backstage tours, a prehistoric Indian museum, gift shop, and restaurant terrace all make your Tecumseh! The Outdoor Drama experience complete.

Paint Creek State Park - Paint Creek State Park is just minutes from Lake Hill Campground and offers a fun afternoon for the whole family. Once home to the Shawnee Indians who roamed the Ohio River Valley, the Paint Creek Valley region marks the boundary between the hilly eastern terrain of the state and the flatter western portions. Paint Creek State Park includes Rocky Fork Creek, Paint Creek, and the impressive Seven Caves. Visitors can enjoy more than 35 miles of trails, a large sandy beach for swimming, boat docks and launches for fishing, and picnicking. There are also opportunities for mini golf (for a small fee), basketball, volleyball, and horseshoes. Paint Creek State Park features a marina offering boat rentals, boat launches, and supplies. .
