D and W Lake RV Park

Great park. The manager was so friendly and helpful. Long Pull through with our 40 foot 5th wheel and 350 truck. Great area for stores and food close by.

Reserved a specific site number but when checked in was informed he moved us. "Easier to get in and out of" We have a 33 ft motor home towing a little Fit. Not a long rig. Had reserved site by lake and ended up in back row looking at a car instead of lake. When asked about getting original site, was told he had to move us to accommodate someone with week long visit. No phone call, no email, no asking if okay. If management is going to place where they want, no site choice should be offered. He did end up allowing us to move to another site by the lake. Was very nice about it but still irritated after a long day of travel it's the last thing you want to deal with. Grounds are beautiful, restroom facilities are spotless with 2 showers. The place looks to be full almost every night. No bright streetlights which is nice. Escorted to site. Will keep on my list if ever back in the area.

Great little campground. Nice spots, and quiet despite being not far from a main rioad. Owner was polite and friendly and showed us to our spot. We were only there one night but if I’m in the area again, I’ll gladly stay here.

Last minute reservations made which was halfway to our destination. We loved it so much there, we stayed on the way back as well. Will definitely be coming back…. For a longer stay next time.

We’ve stayed here twice, and both experiences were great! The whole property is immaculate with lots of attention to detail. The location is private and quiet but with easy access to the interstate and the city of Champaign. We love the lake and the walking path around it. We’ll be back!

This is a beautifully kept park! Nice sized sites and friendly staff.

The campground is very well kept and beautiful. Reservation process was easy and the management was professional, friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were clean. We look forward to staying there again.

Very convenient to Champaign/Urbana but in a fairly quiet setting. Sites not too close together. We enjoyed our daily walks around the pond. Clean facilities. Staff very helpful with hookups if needed.
