Great stopover

The owner is really awesome. He helped get us parked and gave us a great overview of the facilities. He made us feel very welcome even though it was an overnight stay. Easy on/off the interstate. Restroom/shower was very clean.

Overnight stop

We spent one night at D & W as we were passing through the area. After a stressful day of driving, we were so pleased to have a quiet, relaxing place to sit outside, enjoy the lake view, listen to all the birds and take a walk around the lake. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Happy Csmper

This family run property is perfect for an overnight stop on our trip route. We love the pull through sites, meticulously clean bathrooms, hot showers, fun little pond to walk around, and appreciate the friendliness and care of the owners. Enjoy the sunsets over the farm fields and still have access to major shopping opportunities only a few miles away. Thank you!

Hidden Gem

Nice campground away from the highway but easy to get back to. Strong wi-fi and sites are level. Very affordable.

Returning / Snow birds

We have been stopping here for the night for 10 yrs as we return home from our winter in AZ. We always stop for the night even though we live 1.5 hrs away. We also spent time if we have golf tourn. in the Champaign area.

Great Stay

Had a great 3 night stay at the park. Matt's hospitality is unrivaled. The site was clean and level, with a nice view of the lake. Bathrooms were spotless. Have already made reservation for our next stay. Met quite a few returning customers; which is always a good sign.

Excellent Campground

Very nice campground and well maintained. It is a good stop for a couple nights or for a weekend while visiting UIUC.

Moms weekend

My daughter and I had a wonderful visit and enjoyed camping and having a campfire. Location is great and perfect for my visits to her in Champaign. Campground is wonderful with a beautiful lake and very nice and clean bathroom and shower facilities. Host is terrific always checking in and very helpful. This has become my new favorite campground.

Going Home

We always stop here when we are going back home, after a winter in the southwest. The owner is always friendly, helpful and gives us the best advice for our stay. I recommend this park to friends that are going this way.
