Just a stop over on our way home. Near freeway but not on it. Flat grassy sites, helpful staff. Our dog enjoyed the dog park.

Northward bound

D&W has been a great stop for our annual trek northward. Matt is always there to great you, drive or walk you to your site. The space is great for a. Motorhome with a tow car. Quiet location, good signage throughout the park.

Great Stop

D & W Lake Campground is perfect for our travel needs between Michigan and Arizona, we spend a night headed out and back each year. Close to I-57 for easy access, but far enough back from the highway for a great night's rest. Love waking up to the view of the lake. Matt takes such good care of the property--his pride shows through. See you again this fall!

a favorite overnight stop

We have stayed here twice a year many times on our annual North/South travels. Owner Matt is friendly and helpful if needed, like this time when we had to make some last minute changes. Fair price, nice setting, close but not too close to hwy.

Cared for

We stopped here to visit family nearby. Matt greeted us and was helpful throughout the stay. He kept a good presence around the campsite which made me feel like we were secure and welcome. We didn't use the public restroom, but I can't imagine it was not well kept. We'll be back and I'll recommend it to all.

Pit Stop

Perfect place to stop on our home from Florida panhandle. Easy access, clean, safe and friendly. We have a dog and appreciate the path around the lake. Surrounded by farm fields, nice setting.

Great stopover

The owner is really awesome. He helped get us parked and gave us a great overview of the facilities. He made us feel very welcome even though it was an overnight stay. Easy on/off the interstate. Restroom/shower was very clean.

Overnight stop

We spent one night at D & W as we were passing through the area. After a stressful day of driving, we were so pleased to have a quiet, relaxing place to sit outside, enjoy the lake view, listen to all the birds and take a walk around the lake. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Happy Csmper

This family run property is perfect for an overnight stop on our trip route. We love the pull through sites, meticulously clean bathrooms, hot showers, fun little pond to walk around, and appreciate the friendliness and care of the owners. Enjoy the sunsets over the farm fields and still have access to major shopping opportunities only a few miles away. Thank you!
