Orange County Fair Speedway - The Orange County Fair Speedway is, by any estimate, the oldest continuously operating dirt track in the United States. It is one of the oldest racing surfaces in the world. Built in 1857 for horse racing at the annual Orange County Fair, it hosted its first auto race in 1919. Racing has continued, except for the WWII years, ever since! The track is home to dozens of racing events throughout the year, ranging from stock car racing, demo derbies, and more. Every weekend features a special event. Orange County Fair Speedway is home to the Eastern States Weekend. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Nestled among beautifully landscaped hills in the heart of Sullivan County, the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts presents some of the country's top, classical, rock, pop, jazz, and country entertainers.
