Middle Fork River Forest Preserve

At Middle Fork River Forest Preserve, we have hiking trails, a playground, and Waterfowl Management Area to explore. Plus, we're set in a beautiful part of Illinois, right near the University of Illinois, so you'll always find something new to discover.

Our RV guests can enjoy 65 campsites, 53 of which have 30-amp electric hook-ups. Lettered sites A-L have 30/50 amp power hookups. The sites are large and forested, and most are back-ins. We also have three sizeable group sites, each of which can host up to 30 campers. If you like, reserve the three group sites in the Burr Oak area and house up to 100 campers. This is a perfect camping spot for scout troop gatherings, school groups, family reunions, and other get-togethers.
