Look at the website. The reality is 180 degrees out. Rules stated, no Rules enforced. Dirty, unkept facilities, rowdy noisy camps all night long, go carts and mini bikes and dirt bikes running a Indy 500 around during the early daylight hours. No management, or employees to inquire about rules violated. Self serve check in, self serve everything. Pay boxes for ice, showers, firewood, and rig dump area. WiFi nonexistent. Lake area access clogged with derelict boats and a path that took one thru a junkyard of trash and defunct vehicles. Camp pavillion stacked with picnic tables, last falls leaves, pine needles, and boxes of beer cans. On the upside, the pool area was clean looking, although, despite the signage, large pool toys were running amock. Trash receptacles were not in deliberate ares. Park store was advertised on the FaceBook page as being open, albeit limited hours, was in fact, not open at all for the whole weekend. The approach to the Park Store was horribly unkept as well with a scummy plastic pond in the flower bed to the store approach. The access to the lake area ran thru the maintenance area that more closely resembled a wrecking yard with a broke down mega trailer residence in the path and the overflowing trash and beer and popcan area next to the property residence, that would otherwise qualify as a haunted house. When I plugged my simple 30 amp camper plug into the standup, the plug sparked and fell out of the socket. Had to use a 30 amp adapter in a household style socket in the box to get power. Water standup valve was sooooo dicked up it wouldnt stop pissing water as the threads on the damned thing were garred up. Outside of kids that ran amok til late hours, as they were to be at site at 9pm, we dis enjoyed the loud, raucous camp just a few sites away. Let me address the lake front pavilion that was a OSHA nightmare and simply filthy with old pine needles and last years leaves. Shame Shame Shame for all lf this as I knew what it once was.
