Enjoy all the attractions of the
Dallas/Fort Worth area!

Dallas - From towering sky scrapers to family attractions on a big scale, Dallas goes all out. This city offers so much to its visitors -- you'll find some of the finest restaurants and shopping centers in the world as well as championship sports teams, a vibrant arts community, and amusement parks for the kids. Dallas also provides plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors, from the arboretum to Lone Star Park. Don't miss dinner at Medieval Times, a trip to a nearby ranch, or the terrific Dallas Summer Musicals.

Six Flags Over Texas - Well known as one of the best amusement parks in the country, this Arlington park is a fabulous place to visit! Whether you come for the rides, the live entertainment, or the exciting atmosphere, you'll find it all at Six Flags Over Texas. Choose from nearly twenty adult rides and thirty kid and family rides. Some soar through the air, some zip you down from a height, and some can even cool you off like Splashwater Falls. You can go boating through the Wild West on Yosemite Sam's Gold River Adventure, swirl with impressive speed on the Texas Tornado, or propel down La Vibora ("The Viper").

Waggoner Mansion - The Waggoner Mansion, located at the end of Main Street in the city of Decatur, was built by Mr. Dan Waggoner for a growing family. Also known as "El Castile" (the castle), this large home is set on over thirteen acres, perched on a hill east of town. Built of local limestone and adorned with hand-crafted wrought iron, the home is a true old-fashioned mansion that harkens back to Texas's glory days. The house consists of two stories, sixteen rooms, with a full basement and eight fireplaces. Take a stroll past the Waggoner Masion and get a glimpse of the luxury of days gone by. It is privately owned, so you can only view from the street. To see more of the history of Wise county and walk around the Wise County Heritage Museum, click on the link above.

Texas Motor Speedway - Known as The Great American Speedway, Fort Worth's Texas Motor Speedway is the place to be for high-adrenaline racing action. From March to November this track hosts events like the Pro-Cuts Texas World Dirt Track Championship, the Samsung 500 (a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race), and Qualifying Night, an IRL IndyCar Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice and qualifying event. Visit in early November for a race weekend that's full of festivities during the Dickies 500, the eighth race in the 10-race Chase for the NEXTEL Cup. The speedway also offers driver appearances and fan guides for each race.
