Summerland Family Fun Park - Welcome to Minnesota's most unique theme park! At Summerland Family Fun Park in St. Cloud Minnesota, you'll find activities that the entire family can enjoy together. Head to Summerland for a day of mini-golf, go karts, and splashing down the waterslide. Team up for a contest with the bumper boats or head to Kid Kountry, the place where kids rule the day. You can set them a-hopping inside the Moonwalk, then head to the batting cages to work on that swing. You'll also appreciate the arcade and concession stand for a quick afternoon snack. If you come with a group, be sure to call ahead to reserve the picnic shelter.

Stearns History Museum - The two floors of the Stearns History Museum each offer a unique look at a dramatic moment in Minnesota history. Tour the 1850s-era natural world, viewing the Ojibwe and Dakota summer houses, then visit the re-imagined 1930s granite quarry. See the array of dresses and uniforms, the Pan Motor Company exhibit, and the collection of diaries and journals that have been left behind by European immigrants who settled in Stearns County in the 1870s. You can see how farming affected daily life in the Butter On Bread exhibit, then take the little ones to the hands-on fun at the Children's Gallery. The Museum is located in St. Cloud, not far from AJ Acres Campground.

Pine Grove Zoo - Set in a stand of serene White Pines, the Pine Grove Zoo in Little Falls Minnesota is a delightful place to explore. This rustic setting offers a petting zoo for little ones in addition to outdoor exhibits of native and exotic animals. Visit the black bears, the cougar, the wolves, and the bobcat! Enjoy storytime, admire the exhibits, then head off to see the tigers at play. The zoo offers walking trails that are easy to navigate with a stroller, plus an online gift shop, wolf education exhibit, and new bear exhibit area. Check out the charming prairie dogs during feeding time or watch the elk, bison, and pronghorns milling about in their grassy enclosure. This is an excellent chance to see Timberwolves, one of Minnesota's most famous animals.

St. John's Abbey - This is a working abbey, a place of spiritual renewal that includes a church, monastery, guest house, and more. St. John's Abbey is dedicated to the mission of welcoming pilgrims who wish to visit their praying community. Guests can tour the lovely church that is set in these monastic grounds, an ideal place for calming thought and reflection. Gaze across the glassy lake as you feel your spirit become refreshed and strengthened. Study up on the long history of the Benedictine Order, walk the lakeshore paths, learn about the Benedictine Heritage Tour, or simply enjoy the soothing spirit on these grounds that are set on the St. John's University campus in beautiful Collegeville Minnesota.
