Another great visit
Tanglewood is exquisite. Clean, safe, well maintained, sites not too close together. Of course, you do need to bring leveling blocks because most sites are on a slope, but they are paved and side to side level. The only thing that marred my visit was not Tanglewood's fault. When walking my puppy over to the woods on a leash, he was set upon by a small terrier who had been sitting in the open doorway of a trailer, and he was not secured. He came charging at us, barking and snarling. I was able to keep him at bay by swinging my trash bag to block him while calling for his owners to come get him--now! I got the usual "he wouldn't hurt him" (right, but he was snarling and barking so she doesn't know that). Fortunately my puppy is resilient, but a more shy dog could have been emotionally scarred because they chose not to follow the rules. But it wasn't Tanglewood's fault and I did see the owners received a visit from the officials in a golf cart. Hopefully they learned that the rules apply to everyone to keep their dog on a leash and secure. But they obviously were "special" because they assured me he had never done that before. Thank you Tanglewood for addressing the issue.
