The park sits on a beautiful stretch of lake shoreline, in close proximity to Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest. Campgrounds are divided into North and South camps, separated by Big Creek Inlet. South Camp offers full hookup sites and both locations have standard sites without hookups that can be used for tents or rigs. Basic sites come with a fire pit and picnic table. Restrooms with sinks and shower facilities are conveniently located in both campgrounds. The 30 RV sites at South Camp are equipped with 20/30 amp power, water and sewer hookups. Two walk-in tent sites are also available there. A group camping area, which includes a 80-person group shelter, is ideal for a special outing or event. If you forgot to pack something, the onsite convenience store has what you need. To take advantage of the prime lake access, three boat-launch ramps have been set up. Make sure your hook is baited and ready for superb trout and salmon fishing. Lake Cushman is stocked with Kokanee salmon and cutthroat trout. Take a dip, paddle a canoe or kayak, use your feet to power a pedal boat or sail across the water. Snorkel and scuba dive for a unique fish-eye look at the lake. Water and jet ski for fast-paced water action. At the end of an invigorating day, settle back and join fellow campers for family movie night. After vacationing at Skokomish Park, you might like to try the Waterfront at Potlatch, also owned by Skokomish Indian Tribal Enterprises. Just down the road, the destination resort has cabins, motel rooms and an RV park. Walk down the steps to the beach and dive for crabs. Seafood doesn't get much fresher than being cooked on the beach in a boiling pot. Try out some local specialties at the Lucky Dog Casino's Northfork Bar & Grill, a great alternative to cooking. Why not try your luck while you're there on one of the many exciting gaming machines.
