Sacramento Shade RV Park

What an amazing clean, private and safe park. The manager Bruce was over and above kind and accommodating as I needed to extend my stay near a holiday weekend. The negative reviews particularly aimed toward the management were so off base. My guess is they were from previously evicted tenants who couldn't follow the rules. My instinct told me to read past the few negative comments-and so glad I did . Each site had privacy from others, lush grass and trees. Where can you find that in a city? The security program that Bruce enforces keeps wanders and riffraff out. I felt completely safe leaving my motorhome for the day unattended. This place had a very inviting neighborhood feel. What a hidden oasis in Sacramento.

We had an early morning Vet appointment and wanted to be closer, since we live 2 hours away. We chose Sacramento Shade RV Park. Bruce was very helpful with directions and lots of information. We have a larger motorhome and spaces were small but we got in and were very comfortable. Very nice clean rounds and loved the dog play area and privacy between spaces. We would visit again.

This experience was great. Three days in Sacramento for work. The park was clean. The landscaping was great. The manager was awesome, friendly and when I had questions took the time to explain all that was going on. Over all a great experience. The work that is being done is great.

The park was tidy and clean. Nicely located. Bruce, the manager was very helpful when we first arrived. Cordial and informative. Gave us all the pertinent information in a friendly and straightforward manner. But. When my son came for a visit and parked in the wrong place Bruce was pretty rude and demeaning in his delivery. He could have chosen to politely inform my son that he had parked in a non parking space and instructed him where a better place might be. Instead he chose to be a jerk. Would have been a 5 star or A+ review if not for that...

The sites are very nicely maintained, but somewhat difficult to back into as there are other vehicles parked along the roads that have to be moved to make full use of backing into the sites. Also be aware of sharp corners around the park where vehicles park causing tight pass thru. Staff was great and accommodating. We are working through an issue with the park, but that does not influence our rating.

Reserved a spot for 8 days following eye surgery. Park was located conveniently for appointments, staff was friendly and helpful, park was clean and quiet. Extended our stay by two days and paid in full but Internet connection was not extended. Went to the office to correct the problem, but they closed early for the Thanksgiving holiday without giving notice. Left a phone message and no one returned my call or attempted to correct the problem. Consequently, we were unable to stay in contact with medical staff or family.

Came in our Class B for one night. Very disappointed that bathrooms, and especially showers, not working. Other reviews I then read indicated they may have been out of service for months. No mention on their website. And noisy near the freeway. For $72 a night very disappointed! Asked by email for some type of partial refund but got no response.

Very accommodating. Friendly staff. Only complaint was when booking there was no mention of showers, restrooms and laundry were out of order. Not even a discount offered at check in because of this. Place was clean but sites are very tight.

Our stay was short but very sweet. Bruce is an expert in parking very large RV’s. We would have never been able to park our new 5th wheel without his help. The park is very clean and safe. We would give them a 5 star from the customer care to the upkeep of the park. We would stay here again for sure.

Very clean campground and easy to get to from the highway. The privacy fence around each site was very nice as was the grass and plants at our site. Our only complaint was the highway noise. Our site was close to the highway and we could hear the cars and trucks going by all night.
