The Pike County Tourism Commission provides maps of Amish businesses and farms in the area. Maps are available downtown at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, and the County Courthouse, as well as McDonald's. All Amish-owned businesses around Bowling Green are closed on Sundays and Christian holidays. Some also are closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. Clarksville, Eagle Days - Clarksville, Missouri is one of the notable winter Bald Eagle watching spots in the Middle Mississippi River Valley due to its proximity to Locks and Dam #26, which keeps the water free of ice enabling the eagles to find fish during the cold weather. Every year Clarksville holds its annual Eagle Days on the last weekend of January. Naturalists from the Missouri Department of Conservation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the WBS set up spotting scopes, exhibits, children¿s activities, and live eagle shows to entertain and educate the public. Local community organizations and restaurants provide plenty of good food and the shops in town are open for visitors to investigate. St. Louis University - Henry Lay Sculpture Park - This park is set on approximately 20 acres, the Sculpture Park is surrounded by 350-acres of natural meadows, wooded rolling hills, lakes and streams. A well-maintained path takes guests on a 40-minute walk through a working Maple Grove, the McElwee Cemetery and most importantly a plethora of sculpture. Artists with pieces represented in the park are New York based Wendy Klemperer, Portland's Devin Laurence field, Beijing artist Bing Cheng and Brian Rust from Augusta, Georgia.
