Chesapeake Bay Camp-Resort is set about 1.5 hours from Richmond Virginia and 2.5 hours from Washington, D.C. on the Northern Neck, land that's bordered by the Potomac River to the north and the Rappahannock River to the south. We're on the very tip of the Northern Neck, where the Potomac meets the majestic Chesapeake Bay. Our Reedville RV park is famous for our cruises that carry you 13.5 miles across the storied Chesapeake Bay to Smith Island. On the cruise, you can sail waterways with interlacing creeks, canals, and tiny clusters of islands. Dock and tour Ewell, the largest of Smith Island's three scenic and historic fishing villages. For lunch you may wish to dine on Ewell village's picturesque waterfront at one of the Island's restaurants offering a seafood family-style midday dinner, or you may wish to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the porch of the Smith Island Center.
